About the Fujica X#
Fujica's 1980s SLR bayonet (not to be confused with today's Fujifilm X).
Adapting basics#
A lens can be adapted with simple tube spacers when its flange distance is longer than the camera's. With 43.50 mm, Fujica X lenses can in principle go on bodies with shorter flanges such as Canon FD, Canon FL, Start, Konica AR, Konica F-mount, Four Thirds. Bodies with this mount can take lenses from longer-flange systems such as Exakta, Pentax K, M42 screw mount, M37×1, Contax/Yashica (C/Y), Mamiya Z, Deckel (DKL), Braun Paxette Reflex DKL-mount.
